FOUNDER; EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Jean-fenel is the Executive Director and founder of SRDH. Jean-fenel Dorvilier completed school at the Duchity Vocational School and is currently pursuing further education in agroforestry. He has a strong background in agriculture, agroforestry, and TEK (traditional ecological knowledge), and works in agroforestry and construction, among other professions.

BOARD MEMBER

Dr. Nickson Polyte is an SRDH Board of Directors member. Nickson is a general practitioner by training. He graduated from the Lumière University of Haiti in 2018 with a degree in Medicine and Health Sciences. Nickson received his government license in medicine in 2020 and now works as the medical director of the Bon Samaritain Health Center of Duchity.

PROJECT MANAGER

Ismail graduated from the University of Notre Dame of Haiti with a Bachlor's Degree in Agricultural Sciences. He has more than 3 years of experience working in local community development projects. Currently, Ismail is directing SRDH activities - providing farmers with technical assistance, monitoring their activities, teaching sustainable agroecology and agricultural practices, promoting biodiversity conservation, and developing partnerships with other local organizations. Ismail does this work with other organizations as well.

CO-FOUNDER; VICE PRESIDENT, SECRETARY, TREASURER

Julia has a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of Vermont and has held positions in environmental consulting, forest health monitoring, and as a community science outreach naturalist.
